MOLYKOTE® P-1042 adhesive lubricating paste for chucks and other high pressure applications
MOLYKOTE® P-1042 adhesive grease paste was developed for the lubrication of chucks in industrial metalworking machines such as lathes and mills. Since the development, due to stricter requirements in health and environment, has gone very quickly in metalworking emulsions and cutting fluids, some have usually had functional problems with chucks and clamping devices, as the new emulsions have not proven to be compatible with the lubricants in chucks.
To remedy this, MOLYKOTE® and a leading German chuck manufacturer developed a new product in the form of MOLYKOTE®P-1042. The product has now come out on the open market.
