In projects, we collaborate with leading manufacturing companies, consultants and start-ups.
GA Lindberg has a large number of suppliers who have a high level of competence and from whom we take help in various projects, often it is of course best to be involved from the beginning of the project as any problems can be solved at an early stage. But of course we can also help in later stages when you encounter problems/opportunities in lubrication/gluing/sealing/rust protection/dosing.
As hydrogen is very reactive and has a high energy content, it is important to choose the right lubricant. Today, as far as we know, there are no standards for what should be used. In hydrogen applications that we are aware of, inert lubricants with high base oil viscosity are used. This is to minimize the risk of pollution and fire. Typical applications are the lubrication of o-rings and the lubrication of threaded connections.
Permabond F201HV is an anaerobic adhesive with rubber modification for increased resistance to tearing forces, impacts and thermal expansion. It is certified for use in applications where the adhesive comes into contact with and must seal against hydrogen gas, making it a good choice for sealing hydrogen lines, fittings and other fixtures.
