Nusil’s portfolio of medical silicones includes implantable products suitable for under and over 29 days of implantation according to ISO 10993 and USP Class VI. These materials are manufactured with full traceability and FDA files as well as test reports are available for all MED-products.

For many space and electronic applications, low outgassing is required to prevent volatile materials condensing on sensitive equipment. Nusil’s CV segment offers silicones that meet/exceed the requirements of NASA and ESA for TML (Total Mass Loss) and CVCM (Collected Volatile Condensable Material).

Nusil also offers Ultra Low Outgassing silicones, SCV, silicones which contain even lower amounts of condensables. This product segment really is unique!

Optical silicones (LS) from Nusil silicones meet the tough demands within optics/optoelectronics/photonics/laser applications in terms of light transmission, refractive index, color stability and thermal resistance.
