Light curing adhesives

Light-curing glues, or UV glues, cure quickly under the illumination of light from a UV lamp. These types of adhesives are used in many different types of applications in everything from medicine to electronics and when at least one substrate is not UV blocking. Common types of UV adhesives are either acrylic or epoxy based and the adhesives come in a wide variety of properties. Advantages of this type of glue are that the process time is short and that it only hardens when you want it to harden. There are also UV glues that are fluorescent which helps quality control and glues with technology where the glue changes color as it hardens to easily see when it is ready.
