Primers
Primer is used to increase adhesion and/or protect and preserve a surface to be glued. In the first case, the primer is a prerequisite for the glue to stick well and provide a strong glue joint. In the latter case, the primer improves the long-term properties of the joint and ensures that the adhesive joint lasts well for a long time, even outdoors or in other harsh environments. Primer is selected based on the materials to be glued and the type of glue to be used. A good reason to use primer can be to ensure a more uniform quality of the glue joint.
