Anaerobic adhesives

Anaerobic adhesives are adhesives that cure in absence of oxygen and when in contact with a meta surface. In other words, these types of adhesives are perfect for confined spaces such as threaded pipes, nuts bolts and metal fittings. Anaerobics are based on acrylate chemistry and the liquid adhesive fills irregularities and gaps before hardening quickly. Anaerobic adhesives are often divided into different applications: threadlocking, threadsealing (pipe sealing), retaining and gasketing.
